The client

ASG Technologies is an American software company that has made a name for itself worldwide as a provider of technology solutions in the field of Enterprise Data Intelligence for more than 30 years and has tailor-made solutions ready in times of digital disruption. One of its largest customers in Germany is Postbank.

The case

Every year, the company ASG Technologies holds its in-house user conference in Dallas/Texas. Numerous innovations from the areas of Business Intelligence and Data Management are presented. A new addition is the area of robot-controlled process automation (RPA). Fortis’ task was to bring German media representatives to the conference, who would then report on the event and the developments presented in their media.

This is what we achieved

Fortis PR successfully placed two German industry insiders and influencers with ASG Technologies, who covered ASG before, during and after the event, both on their social media channels and in their blogs and podcasts.

This is how our client sees it

“Working with Fortis is very pleasant and straightforward. The team manages to prepare even complex topics in a comprehensible way and to place them in important, opinion-forming media. Having German media representatives at our user conference Evolve in the USA and the subsequent coverage were a particular success for us.”
Nicole Biel, Field Marketing Manager Central Europe at ASG Technologies

Background: Our approach

Through direct contact with various journalists from the fields of economics, business and IT, who had either recently reported on ASG Technologies or have been in good contact with Fortis PR for many years, it quickly became clear that the topic of RBA (robotic process automation) in particular met with a great deal of interest among the contacts. Since we knew from past invitations that permanent journalists often cannot attend company events for compliance reasons and freelance journalists for strategic reasons, we tried to attract bloggers and/or influencers from the digitalisation industry. With success.
